May 10th marks the opening for yet another great fashion exhibition. This time it's the Met Museum's 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations'. It puts together 2 legendary designers in conversation, discussing their views on fashion and life, alongside pieces from their collections. Schiaparelli is played by Judy Davis, with words taken from the writings of Schiaparelli herself.

Connecting the LV Dots
From all the collaborations out there, the most intriguing has to be when a fashion designer teams up with an artist. We have seen this many times in the past from Zac Posen and Rosson Crow, to Paul Smith and Craigie Aitchison, and many others. This time Louis Vuitton has paired up with Yayoi Kusama for a limited edition collection scheduled to hit June 11. LV has previously collaborated with Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami which both made everyone gone nuts so we can probably assume the same for this one. With Kusama's love (or maybe a bit of obsession) towards dots, we can see her artist flair pouring out of this one.

In New Hands a New Look
Ever since the two creatives behind Opening Ceremony took over at Kenzo, it seems they are spreading to reach a new audience. With a new vibe for the season, I am definitely intrigued by all the new things they are doing. I knew they had been collaborating with Vans to put together a sneaker line, but it looks like they are now on to snap back caps with New Era, and boy is it looking great. I would love to get my hands on the white cap and a pair of the green vans. Hopefully this new look and feel to the brand isn't too far from what people know Kenzo to be though. So tell me what you guys think.
